Charism/Mission
The motto of Benedictines is "that in all things God may be  glorified".  The charism entrusted to Benedictines of the Federation  of St. Gertrude is "to seek God in community, to praise God through prayer  and work, and to listen with eagerness to the Spirit's call into the unknown  future."

 This is the mission statement of our Our Lady of Peace Monastery, adopted on October 1, 2005.
