Hospitality
Throughout the ages, hospitality has been one of the marks of a
Benedictine. St. Benedict, the founder of the Benedictine Order,
wrote in his Rule that guests are to be received as Christ.
Benedict admonished his followers to be sensitive to one another's needs,
to help one another to live in community and to see Christ in one
another and in all guests who come to the Monastery. See retreats for some ways that we try to share our Benedictine
hospitality and spirituality with you.
